01 / Reverb

The controls in practice.

Keep the attack clear of the reverb.

Pre-delay separates the attack from the reverb. Early and Tail balance reflections and the tail around your source.

Adjust the sound of the room.

Choose a character, then adjust size, diffusion, damping and filters to place the space inside the track.

Hold the tail.

Modulation animates the tail, ducking makes room for the direct signal and Freeze holds material for transitions.

Close piano, space behind it

Try a short pre-delay and a quiet return. Listen to the gaps between notes when choosing the length.

Rare strings inside the track

Send Nyckelharpa or Crwth to a shared bus with your other tracks. The same room can connect very different timbres.

A transition that holds

Capture a sustained sound with Freeze, then reduce the direct signal and let the space take over.

Licence and updates.

Read the licence

Perpetual v2.0 licence, no subscription, the same licence as the synths.

Updates to the same FX are included at no extra charge while distributed, including free EQ. No release schedule or permanent online access is guaranteed; separate expansions and content are not automatically included.

FX are excluded from the buy 3 + get 2 free offer: they do not count towards the five instruments and cannot be selected as gifts.
