Scope, contact and licence

These terms cover purchases made on https://unicorsoundengine.com from the Unicorn Who Dev project. Contact for orders, assistance and complaints: unicornwhodev@gmail.com.

A purchase grants a perpetual licence to use the software described on its product page, not ownership of the software. Licence v2.0 defines the rights granted and is available before purchase: https://unicorsoundengine.com/legal/LICENSE_EN-v2.0.md. It does not limit mandatory consumer rights. Free Bass is added separately to your library.

Licence, updates and services

There is no mandatory subscription or paid renewal. For instruments acquired in a paid order on the official website, including promotional gifts, future releases actually published as updates to the same instrument are included at no extra charge while distributed.

No number of releases, schedule, specific feature or indefinite development is guaranteed. Separate expansions, packs and standalone products are not automatically included. Update benefits for free Bass and external purchases depend on the applicable offer.

The purchase does not include an additional promise of permanent hosting of the website, accounts or downloads, or indefinite support. Agreed initial supply, statutory warranties and legally required updates remain due. A business transfer does not automatically remove acquired rights or obligations actually assumed.

New terms do not retroactively replace earlier agreements; installing an update does not automatically mean accepting a new restriction. See sections 8–14 of licence v2.0 for details.

Products and compatibility

Instruments are supplied for Windows x64 and Linux x64 as VST3 plug-ins and standalone applications. Check requirements and available platforms on the product page and installation guide before purchasing. No macOS, AU or AAX support is advertised.

Recordings and screenshots demonstrate the instruments; DAW projects and third-party libraries are not included. Available features, versions and files are identified in your library.

Prices and launch offer

Prices shown in euros are the amounts payable, with no digital delivery fee added by the site. Piano and Guitar: €12 each; each Rare Strings instrument: €19. The order summary and total are shown before payment. There is no subscription.

Through 25 December 2026 inclusive, Paris time, an order of at least five distinct paid instruments includes two free instruments chosen by the customer from that order. Free Bass does not count. Maximum two gifts per order; additional instruments remain payable. The discount is applied automatically in the cart and checked at checkout. Full conditions are on the offer page.

Ordering and payment

You can change your cart and two gifts before continuing. You accept these terms using a checkbox that is not preselected. Payment then takes place on Stripe’s secure page. Stripe’s final confirmation button places an order with an obligation to pay.

An order is confirmed after successful payment. Failed or abandoned payments do not grant paid access. Your account contains the order summary and a download of the accepted terms version. If the price or offer eligibility changes before checkout, return to the cart to review the new total.

Delivery and assistance

After payment confirmation, the instruments and available files appear in the account used to order. Internet access and an account are required to download. Temporary links are generated from your library.

If delivery or installation fails, contact unicornwhodev@gmail.com with your order reference and platform. Statutory rights to supply, conformity, price reduction or termination remain applicable.

Withdrawal

You normally have fourteen days from conclusion of the purchase to withdraw without giving a reason. This website does not ask you to waive that right to access the download.

“Withdraw from a purchase” is available in the footer and from your orders. Select the order, enter your name and email, then confirm the request. A reference and downloadable acknowledgement are provided. You may also send an unambiguous statement to unicornwhodev@gmail.com with your order, name and email.

Withdrawal from a promotional order also concerns the free instruments attached to it. Any refund due is processed within the statutory time limit, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed; the related licences are disabled after processing. The form does not issue automatic refunds.

Guarantees and disputes

Applicable statutory guarantees for digital content and services, including conformity and latent-defect guarantees, remain in force. For a one-off supply, the statutory conformity guarantee covers defects appearing within two years of supply. Updates necessary for conformity are provided as required by law.

First send a written complaint to unicornwhodev@gmail.com. Mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence remain applicable; no clause prevents you from contacting competent authorities or courts.

Data and a copy of these terms

The privacy policy explains the processing of account, order and delivery data. Audience measurement remains optional. You can download and keep this terms version before purchasing.
