Shape the way you play.

Shape the attack, colour and sustain of your part with the instrument’s own controls.

Bow and drone

Bow pressure feeds the melodic string. A lower drone string enters the same mechanical chain.

Through the springs

Spring tension and return change propagation and the response at the bridge.

Membranes answering

Damping and cross-coupling change the response of the two membrane families.

A long resonance between two sections.

  1. Give it an impulse

Begin with one note and let the response unfold.

  2. Follow the tail

Change spring tension while following the motion in the ending.

  3. Connect the parts

Place the held response across a transition and leave room between new gestures.
